We’re looking for a Senior BE Engineer to join a fast-paced project hosted on AKS, with a strong focus on clean architecture, secure authentication, and scalable cloud-native applications.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Architect, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs via Python and FastAPI applications hosted on Kubernetes and Azure.
- Deploy, configure, and manage services using Azure DevOps, AKS, Azure Key Vault, Azure Container Registry, and related tools.
- Optimize database performance across Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server, where applicable.
- Working with microservices, message brokers, and modern DevOps workflows.
- Make informed technical decisions regarding hosting models, configuration strategies, and infrastructure management.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps best practices.
- Communicate technical decisions clearly and constructively, participating in design discussions and code reviews.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra for identity and access management.
- Practical experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Kubernetes (AKS), Key Vault, Container Registry.
- Experience with cloud-native storage technologies, especially Cosmos DB and Azure Storage.
- Proficiency in .NET and ASP.NET, with experience in legacy ASP.NET MVC migrations.
- Strong command of Microsoft SQL Server, including performance tuning.
- Good familiarity with Entity Framework.
- Understanding of database performance strategies (e.g., sharding, partitioning).
- Proven ability to evaluate and implement hosting and deployment strategies (Kubernetes vs. Azure Functions, etc.).
GOOD TO HAVE:
- Proven experience with Semantic Kernel.
- Experience implementing OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect in .NET applications.
